Jatro BPO is hiring an Accounting Specialist in San Fernando, Pampanga to support financial operations for Australian strata properties. The role covers AP/AR, trust accounts, budgeting, payroll, and audits with a strong emphasis on accuracy and compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and has 1–2 years’ Australian accounting experience. Onsite work setup, competitive pay, and opportunities for career progression are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–2 years Australian accounting or strata accounting experience.
• Experience with Australian taxation, BAS, payroll, and wage calculations is an advantage.
• Knowledge of trust accounting and Australian strata legislation is an advantage.
• Proficient in Strata Master, StrataMax, MYOB, Xero, or QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice processing, payment allocation, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate monthly financial reports for strata corporations.
• Maintain and reconcile trust accounts in accordance with Australian strata regulations.
• Prepare annual budgets, financial statements, and supporting schedules.
• Perform bank, general ledger, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Process levy notices, monitor collections, and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Maintain accurate accounting records, including journals and general ledger entries.
• Assist with audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors.
• Respond to financial enquiries from property managers, committees, and clients in a professional and timely manner.
• Support Australian payroll processing, wage calculations, BAS preparation, and other taxation-related requirements, as needed.
• Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards, company policies, and internal financial controls.
