Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for timely filing and payment of taxes (monthly, quarterly and annual) – LGU & BIR Compliance
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of accounting staff in areas such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.
- Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain compliance with internal accounting controls and recommend improvements as needed.
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide training and mentoring to junior accounting staff.
- Assist with special projects and other tasks as assigned by senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related course
- 2–5 years accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
- Knowledge of Philippine accounting standards and audit procedures
- High attention to detail, integrity, and organizational skills
