Platinum Products & Services, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our stable company serving leaders in automation and calibration.

Based in Mandaluyong, you will record transactions, handle reconciliations, process payables/receivables, and assist with financial statements and audits. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in accountancy (CPA preferred), payroll knowledge, strong numerical and analytical skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field required.
• CPA preferred.
• Familiar with payroll processes, tax remittance and government remittance.

Responsabilidades

• Recording financial transactions.
• Reconciling bank statements, ledger accounts, and other records.
• Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable documentation.
• Preparing journal entries and maintaining books.
• Assisting with financial statements, trial balances, and reconciliations.
• Ensuring timely completion of accounting tasks with quality standards.
• Assisting with audit preparation and documentation.
• Maintaining accounting records and files.
• Preparing and filing tax returns.
• Assisting in payroll and payroll-related activities.

Key responsibilities

• Recording financial transactions

• Reconciling bank statements, ledger accounts, and other financial records

• Preparing and processing accounts payable and accounts receivable documentation

• Preparing journal entries and maintaining books of accounts

• Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, trial balances, and monthly reconciliations

• Ensuring all accounting work is completed in a timely manner and meets quality standards

• Assisting with audit preparation and providing documentation as requested

• Maintaining and updating accounting records and files

• Preparing and filing tax returns

• Assisting in payroll and payroll related activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or any college course with accounting subjects

• Preferably a CPA

• Knowledgeable in payroll, basic accounting journal entries, recording accounting transactions, tax remittance and government remittance process

• Keen on details, punctual, easily trained and can work well under pressure

• Fresh graduates may apply

• Familiar with Accounting software is an advantage

• Good numerical and analytical skills

• Willing to work in Mandaluyong office

• Willing to learn and develop skills in accounting practice and system
