Job summary

DEDON Manufacturing Inc. in Cebu City seeks a highly skilled CPA to lead general ledger management, financial reporting, cost accounting, and intercompany activities. The role emphasizes tax compliance with the BIR and other regulators, plus ensuring accurate, timely financial data for decision-making.

You will review and consolidate data for reporting, support audits, and guide management on tax and regulatory changes while coordinating with finance teams across departments.

Qualifications

• CPA credential and strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting.
• Experience with intercompany accounting and tax compliance in the Philippines.
• Familiarity with BIR, BOI, SEC, BSP audit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Validate and posting of all general journals and transactions; prepare adjustments.
• Summarize financial status; prepare balance sheet and P&L reports.
• Coordinate inter-company reconciliations and budget data gathering.
• Review cost allocations; verify product contribution margins.
• Ensure accuracy of financial reports and supporting schedules.
• Assist with tax audits and compliance documentation.
• Monitor cash flow, treasury processes, and fixed assets.
• Maintain tax compliance updates and provide guidance to management.
• Support audit processes by preparing working papers and schedules.

Job description

-Checks the validity of all posted transactions in the system (e.g. general journals, sales journal, etc.)and post any necessary adjustments needed.

-Summarizes current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.

-Ensures timelyInter-company reconciliation

-Gathers & consolidates data for budget preparation from various departments and liquidity reports

-Reviews the collected and tabulated data by the Cost Accountant which are necessary to prepare the monthly cost allocation process

-Reviewsthe monthly product contribution margin reportprepared by the Cost Accountant.

-Reviewsthe financial reports and supporting schedules and for compliance with International Financial Reporting (IFRS), BIR, Board of Investments, Securities & Exchange Commission, BSP andall external reporting requirements.

-Reviewscollected & compiledcorporate financial information andensuresaccuracy and timely taxcompliance.These includesworking papers and all requirements prepared bythe Compliance Accountantfor BIR and Bureau of Customs audit.

-Attend totax audits and investigation together with the immediate superior and Finance Director.

-Reviews and endorsesformulated solutionsof the Compliance Accountanton tax-related issues and provides recommendations on how to improve compliance and tax avoidance.

-Keeps abreast of tax updates relevant to the company and provide proper tax guidance to management

-Conducts inventory count or verification of account and other accounting related activities that maybe assigned by immediate superior.

Job Qualification:

A Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Strong knowledge of GL management, Account Reconciliation, Financial Reporting and Cost Accounting

Understanding of cash flow monitoring, treasury processed, and fixed asset control

Familiarity with Philippine tax regulations and compliance requirements

Experience in Intercompany / Related-Party Accounting

Advanced Excel Skills (e.g. Pivot Tables, complex formulas, dashboards, Power Query, basic Macro/VBA)

Strong analytical, attention to detail, communication skills and ability to work within reporting deadlines.
