Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific in Manila is seeking a senior accounting leader to manage the Record to Report function, including Intercompany and close processes. You will supervise a team of leaders, guide performance reviews, and partner with global stakeholders to ensure accurate financial statements and compliance with policies.

Responsibilities include scheduling reviews, driving continuous improvement, overseeing month-end close, and supporting internal/external audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 8+ years experience in RTR with Intercompany accounting
• 3-5 years of people management experience

Responsibilities

• Lead the supervision team of Record to Report (Intercompany) and drive operational performance
• Ensure compliance with departmental and organizational objectives and policies
• Perform admin tasks related to personnel, vacations, performance plans, and hiring needs
• Carry out development conversations and follow-ups with staff
• Schedule recurring meetings to review metrics, KPIs and month-end results
• Keep track of month-end close activities and ensure timely completion
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within RTR to enhance efficiency and profitability
• Support internal and external audits and SOX compliance initiatives
