Maritrans Recycler Inc. is seeking an accounting professional to record daily financial transactions and prepare journal entries. The role will maintain and update the general ledger and manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, performing bank reconciliations, assisting in month-end and year-end closing, supporting payroll processing, and aiding audits and tax compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in accounting, finance, or business administration.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) with 1 year experience.
• Experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and taxation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and accuracy.

Responsabilités
