Michael Page in the Philippines is seeking a Finance Shared Services / Accounting Operations leader to drive AR, Billing and cash applications with regional exposure.

You will build high-performing teams, strengthen controls and partner with Singapore-based and Philippines stakeholders. The role emphasises accuracy, process improvement and leadership across Order-to-Cash processes.

The candidate must be highly meticulous and detail-oriented. Given the nature of Billing, Collections and Accounting Operations, small errors can have significant impact on revenue, collections, customer relationships and financial reporting.

• Be disciplined in reviewing numbers, reports, reconciliations and supporting documentation.
• Demonstrate high standards for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify issues before they reach stakeholders or customers.

• Build controls and review mechanisms so that accuracy becomes embedded in the team's way of working.

• Communicate confidently and professionally with Singapore-based stakeholders and senior leaders.
• Structure thoughts clearly and logically.
• Explain complex Finance or operational issues in simple, understandable terms.
• Write clear, concise and professional emails, reports and management updates.
• Present issues together with the root cause, business impact, recommendation and required action.
• Handle difficult conversations professionally and confidently.
• Adjust communication style depending on whether the audience is Finance, Operations or senior management.
• Provide proactive and timely updates without needing to be followed up.

The candidate must be able to build credibility and trusted relationships across the Philippines and Singapore. They should be comfortable influencing stakeholders, managing expectations, respectfully challenging when necessary and driving issues toward resolution.

Finance Shared Services / Accounting Operations Expertise
The candidate should have meaningful experience leading Finance Shared Services or Accounting Operations, with particular strength in:

• Billing and invoicing
• Accounts Receivable
• Collections
• Customer account reconciliation
• Cash application
• Billing disputes and adjustments
• AR aging management
• Order-to-Cash / O2C processes
• Accounting controls and reconciliations
• Process improvement
