Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a Finance Operations Analyst to support regional finance operations across APAC and Europe, with a strong focus on billing and Accounts Receivable. The role will also cover month-end closing, IFRS reporting, reconciliations, and related compliance activities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in multinational or regional finance, able to collaborate with stakeholders across regions and execute daily finance operations using ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience in billing, Accounts Receivable, and general accounting.
• Hands-on month-end closing, journal entries, and general ledger activities.
• Understanding of IFRS and accounting principles.
• Exposure to payroll accounting, tax, prepayments, accruals, and cost accounting.
• Experience in an MNC or regional finance environment is preferred.
• Experience using accounting/ERP systems.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage billing and Accounts Receivable across regional markets.

This role will have a strong focus on billing and Accounts Receivable, while also supporting general accounting activities including month-end closing, financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance-related processes.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a multinational or regional finance environment and be comfortable handling both operational finance tasks and accounting responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage billing and Accounts Receivable activities across regional markets.
• Handle invoicing, payment tracking, account reconciliations, and resolution of billing discrepancies.
• Support month-end closing activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and reporting requirements.
• Maintain and review general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Support accounting activities related to prepayments, accruals, payroll accounting, income tax, and cost analysis.
• Assist in preparing financial reports in accordance with IFRS and internal accounting policies.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate accounting discrepancies.
• Maintain proper documentation for audit, compliance, and reporting purposes.
• Work closely with finance stakeholders across APAC and Europe to resolve accounting queries and support business requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and operational efficiency.
• Utilize accounting and ERP systems to support daily finance operations.
