Job summary

ArtJohnley Enterprises is seeking an Accounting Officer to handle the management of Accounts Payable, Receivables, and Financial Reporting. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with accounting standards while supporting management in financial decision-making.

The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy and at least one year of relevant experience. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, trustworthy, and proficient in Odoo Accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.

Qualifications

• At least one (1) year of accounting or finance-related experience.
• Experience in trading, distribution, or project-based businesses is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable, including processing supplier invoices.
• Monitor customer receivables and aging schedules.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and reconcile subsidiary ledgers.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and assist in preparing Income Statements.
• Maintain accurate accounting records in Odoo and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with various departments regarding accounting-related concerns.

Skills

Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting

Strong analytical and reconciliation skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

Knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
