Infinity-Ways Manpower Corporation in Manila, Philippines seeks an experienced Accounting Officer to manage Accounts Payable, inventory accounting, and tax activities. You will ensure accurate records, timely reporting, and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
The role requires 5+ years in accounting, strong analytical skills, and independence to drive month-end and year-end closing processes while maintaining strong internal controls.
The Accounting Officer is responsible for managing Accounts Payable, inventory accounting, and tax-related activities while ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements. The position plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, performing accounting reconciliations, ensuring timely statutory compliance, supporting month-end and year-end closing, and maintaining effective financial controls in accordance with Company policies and applicable regulations. This is a more mature accounting role requiring sound accounting judgment, strong analytical capability, independence, and the ability to identify and resolve accounting issues.
Post and monitor Accounts Payable transactions, including invoice verification, recording, and payment processing
Review and process monthly Employees' reimbursement in timely manner
Review invoices and supporting documents for completeness, accuracy, proper authorization, and compliance with Company policies
Perform vendor statement reconciliations and investigate and resolve invoice, payment, and account discrepancies
Maintain accurate inventory accounting records and perform regular inventory reconciliations
Monitor inventory movements, adjustments, and related accounting entries
Prepare and maintain tax schedules, supporting documents, and other tax-related accounting records
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
Prepare accounting schedules, reconciliations, and reports for review by the Finance Manager
Support internal and external audits by providing accurate and complete accounting records and supporting documentation
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or related functions
Strong practical accounting experience, preferably with exposure to Accounts Payable, inventory accounting, tax compliance, and general accounting
Good understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, internal controls, and statutory requirements
Experience with accounting software or ERP systems
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
Strong analytical, reconciliation, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict deadlines with minimum supervision
