Responsibilities
Financial Reporting
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
Accounting Operations
Oversee daily accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of all financial transactions.
Implement and maintain accounting policies and procedure
People Management
Mentoring and Coaching of Accounting Associates and Senior Accounting Associates
Ensures that team members meet efficiency score standards and KPIs.
Facilitate appropriate trainings and performance management
Proactively identifies and addresses policy and procedure breaches
Budgeting and Forecasting
Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts.
Monitor budget performance and analyze variances.
Provide recommendations for cost control and efficiency improvements.
Internal Controls
Ensures process documentation is complete and updated
Ensure the accuracy and reliability of accounting data.
Conduct internal audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
Ensures accountability for service quality and overall customer satisfaction
Communication and Collaboration
Work closely with other departments to support overall company goals and objectives.
Collaborate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation for audits.
Communicate financial information to management and stakeholders.
Leads client meetings, handle issue resolutions and key status updates
Customer Relationship
Ensures that communication is purposeful, timely, and solutions-driven in every customer interaction
Provide efficiency and transparency, giving clients real-time access and updates through the use of innovative cloud-based tools
Provide clear, consistent, and efficient communication channels that build trust, foster collaboration, and support long-term client relationships.
Key Attributes
Able to explain complex financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders and possess an industry expert attitude in providing strategic recommendations.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines
Adherence to legal regulations, ethical guidelines, and corporate policies in all financial dealings.
Strong Leadership, Team Management and Client Management Skills
Staying updated with changing accounting standards, regulations, and technologies.
Qualifications
Graduate of BS Accountancy
Must be a Certified Public Accountant
At least 2+ years of relevant work experience as an Accounting Manager handling global clients (people management role) from a client centric organization
Expertise in accounting principles, tax laws, auditing standards, and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle)
