Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
- Oversee daily accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of all financial transactions.
- Implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts.
- Monitor budget performance and analyze variances.
- Provide recommendations for cost control and efficiency improvements.
- Develop and maintain a system of internal controls to safeguard assets.
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of accounting data.
- Conduct internal audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Work closely with other departments to support overall company goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation for audits.
- Communicate financial information to management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Graduate of BS Accountancy
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant
- At least 1+ years of relevant work experience as an Accounting Manager (people management role) from a client-centric / accounting firm organization
- Expertise in accounting principles, tax laws, auditing standards, and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle)
- Experience in Big 4 and BPO settings is a plus
- Amenable to work in a hybrid setup
