Job summary

Ancar Motors, Inc. is seeking a skilled CPA to lead the accounting team in Metro Manila.

The senior accountant will manage day-to-day operations, prepare and analyze financial statements, and ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions. The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of Philippine accounting standards and BIR rules, and proficiency in Excel and accounting software.

Qualifications

• CPA licensing is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the day-to-day accounting operations.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, and related schedules.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Review accounting entries and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure compliance with BIR requirements, tax regulations, and other statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, suppliers, and government agencies when necessary.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance.
• Provide management with financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate accounting staff.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting records.

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in preparing financial statements.
• Knowledge of Philippine accounting standards, taxation, and BIR regulations.
