Job summary

Alphaland Corporation in Makati City seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to ensure accurate financial reporting, comply with government regulations, and uphold the integrity of accounting processes.

You will prepare monthly FS, manage day-to-day accounting, month-end close, and coordinate with BIR/SEC to support audits and regulatory submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Banking, or related field.
• Preferably with CPA License.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in: Financial Statement preparation.
• BIR, SSS, and SEC compliance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting systems and BIR regulations.
• Willingness to work on-site in Makati City.
• Available to start immediately.

Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and finalize monthly Financial Statements (FS)
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of all transactions

General Accounting

• Oversee day-to-day general accounting operations, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations and account analysis
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing and preparation of financial statements
• Review General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and cash transactions for accuracy and completeness
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, company policies and internal controls
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, schedules, and management reports to support business decisions

Government Compliance

• Monitor updates from BIR/SEC websites to ensure full compliance
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports and submissions
• Assist in the preparation of necessary documentation for BIR audits (LOAs)

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Banking, or related field
• Preferably with CPA License
