The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accountancy or Finance, a CPA preferred, and 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory roles. Proficiency in ERP and Excel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• CPA license preferred.
• More than 3 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or managerial experience.
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or comparable spreadsheet applications.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll coordination, and cash management.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff; assign responsibilities and monitor performance.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documentation.
• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Monitor cash flow, bank transactions, and account balances.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax requirements, and statutory regulations.
• Coordinate the preparation of tax filings and other regulatory reports.
• Establish, maintain, and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and provide required documentation and explanations.
