Job summary

Abenson Ventures, Inc. invites an experienced Accounting Manager to join the Manila-based finance team. You will oversee general ledger, financial statements, and tax compliance while guiding a dedicated accounting staff. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification or equivalent highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in accounting management or financial leadership.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial records.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Philippine tax regulations is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial records.
• Direct the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and collection activities.
• Lead and supervise accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, tax requirements, and internal audit procedures.
• Conduct reconciliations of bank accounts, balance sheet items, and inter-company accounts.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Prepare and analyse financial reports, variance analyses, and budget forecasts for management review.
• Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants to facilitate audit processes and tax compliance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimisation within the accounting function.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and supporting documentation.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our finance team at our Quezon City Metro Manila office on a full-time basis. As Accounting Manager, you will oversee all accounting operations, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and provide comprehensive financial reporting to support informed business decision-making.
