• Conduct financial analysis and variance reporting for decision-making.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team on a full-time basis in Naga City, Camarines Sur. This is a strategic position within our accounting and finance function, where you will take responsibility for overseeing all accounting operations and financial reporting activities. As Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records whilst supporting the broader business objectives of the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance and bank reconciliations
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance, training and performance management
• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures and internal controls to ensure compliance and operational efficiency
• Manage the accounting budget and cost control initiatives to optimise financial performance
• Conduct financial analysis and variance reporting to support management decision-making and strategic planning
• Liaise with external auditors and ensure timely completion of audit processes and regulatory filings
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly documented and classified
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the accounting function

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Strong proficiency with accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards and tax regulations applicable to the Philippines
• Proven ability to lead and develop accounting teams effectively, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail
• Experience in financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools
