Job summary

Create Synergies Inc. in Makati City is seeking a Financial Reporting & Accounting Manager to oversee financial reporting, accounting operations, and compliance activities. The role ensures accuracy and integrity of financial information while providing management with timely insights.

Candidates with Retail, FMCG, Distribution, or other high-volume consumer businesses are highly preferred; CPA is preferred; on-site work in a morning shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA is preferred.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience with managerial or supervisory experience.
• Strong background in financial reporting and general accounting.
• Retail experience is highly preferred, especially from multi-store operations.
• Experience with inventory, COGS, sales, and retail accounting is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine Accounting Standards and taxation.
• Proficient in ERP/accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Review account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial schedules.
• Monitor financial reporting for sales, inventory, COGS, and operating expenses.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to management.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine Accounting Standards and tax requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support audit requirements.
• Monitor internal controls and recommend improvements to accounting processes.
• Review accounting policies and ensure consistent implementation across operations.
• Provide financial analysis and explanations for major variances.
• Lead and develop the Accounting team.
