Job summary

PM Consulting is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee the company’s accounting operations from Makati. You will lead the accounting team, manage financial reporting, and ensure regulatory compliance with internal controls.

The role requires at least 5 years in accounting/finance with supervisory experience, strong Excel and accounting systems proficiency, and excellent communication skills. Onsite work in Makati with standard weekdays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with supervisory or managerial experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.
• Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Accounting Operations

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and review accurate financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.

Compliance & Internal Controls

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Monitor and strengthen internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support audit requirements.

Budgeting & Financial Analysis

• Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions.
• Monitor company expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and supervise the accounting team.
• Ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of accounting deliverables.
• Support continuous process improvement within the department.
