Qualifications

• CPA certification required.
• 10+ years of relevant accounting experience; retail experience preferred.
• Experience in supervisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial processes.
• Proficient in accounting systems and MS Excel.
• Comfortable building processes in a fast-moving startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate, timely recording of all financial transactions.
• Manage month-end, quarterly, and year-end closings and prepare/review financial statements.
• Maintain asset and liability records, including inventory and fixed assets.
• Design, implement, and continually improve financial processes and internal controls.
• Establish policies for cash handling, inventory management, procurement, and expense approvals.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine tax regulations and statutory reporting.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support audit requirements.
• Liaise with tax consultants and government agencies as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations and ensure accurate, timely recording of all financial transactions in compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and year‑end closing processes, and prepare/review financial statements
• Maintain asset and liability records, including inventory and fixed assets
• Design, implement, and continuously improve financial processes and internal control systems
• Establish policies for cash handling, inventory management, procurement, and expense approvals
• Ensure compliance with Philippine tax regulations, including timely tax filings and statutory reporting
• Coordinate with external auditors and support audit requirements
• Liaise with tax consultants and government agencies as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA required; other finance, accounting, or tax‑related certifications are a plus
• At least 10 years of relevant accounting experience, including 3+ years in retail (large‑format retail preferred)
• Experience in accounting roles with supervisory responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial processes
• Proficient in accounting systems and MS Excel
• Comfortable building processes and adapting in a fast‑moving startup environment
