Job summary

Our Clients in Makati City is seeking an Accounting Operations Manager to lead day-to-day accounting functions across multiple stores. You will oversee general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, month-end close, and ensure accurate financial reporting.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accountancy or related field, 5+ years in accounting with supervisory experience, and strong knowledge of tax, reporting standards, and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• CPA is preferred.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience with supervisory or managerial exposure.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and accounting standards.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily accounting operations including General Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documents.
• Ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of sales, purchases, inventory, and operating expenses.
• Monitor accounting transactions across stores or business units.
• Ensure timely preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory stakeholders.
• Review and improve accounting processes, controls, and workflows.
• Identify accounting risks and implement appropriate controls.
• Manage, coach, and develop the Accounting team.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field

CPA (preferred)
