Job summary

Alphaland Corporation is seeking an Accounting Manager to maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely reporting across the group. The role involves establishing internal controls, implementing accounting policies, and guiding staff to meet deadlines and audit readiness.

Requirements include a accounting degree (CPA preferred) and 2–3 years of managerial or external audit experience, plus proficiency in Netsuite and Excel.

• At least two (3) years managerial experience or equivalent External Audit experience
• Knowledgeable and with experience in Accounting Software/ERP Systems (Preferable Netsuite)

Responsibilities

• Prepare Financial Statements within the group
• Develop and maintain accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements
• Manage assigned staff to ensure that work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner
• Address tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, and yearend audit preparation
• Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure
• Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close
• Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information
• Ensure the accurate and timely processing of payable transactions
• Collaborate with other managers to support overall department goals and objectives
• Monitor and analyze assigned work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy

About the role

An Accounting Manager ensures organizations' financial records remain accurate while meeting reporting deadlines. They establish internal controls and guidelines for preparing transactions that comply with Accounting Standards and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

Key responsibilities
