Top1Movers Worldwide Inc. is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the accounting and financial planning for its logistics operations in the Philippines.

The role focuses on accurate revenue recording, cost control, and timely financial reporting across monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in accounting/finance with supervisory experience, and a background in trucking or logistics is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance; CPA is an advantage.
• At least 5 years in accounting/finance, with 2+ years in a managerial role.
• Experience in trucking, logistics, freight or similar industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, cash flow and Philippine accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Ensure accurate recording of revenues, including billing for trucking services, fuel surcharges, demurrage, and other charges.
• Monitor cost of operations, such as fuel, repairs, toll fees, and driver allowances.
• Ensure timely reconciliation of bank accounts, fuel cards, and cash advances.
• Develop and maintain budget forecasts and variance analyses.
• Track and analyze costs per truck or route to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Supervise billing and invoicing for trucking and logistics services.

Job description

• Prepare, analyze, and presentmonthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements(P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Ensureaccurate recording of revenues, including billing for trucking services, fuel surcharges, demurrage, and other charges.
• Monitorcost of operations, such as fuel, repairs, toll fees, and driver allowances.
• Ensuretimely reconciliationof bank accounts, fuel cards, and cash advances.
• Develop and maintainbudget forecastsand variance analyses.

2. Cost Control and Analysis

• Track and analyzeoperational costs per truck or per routeto identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Monitorfuel consumption, tire expenses, maintenance, and repair coststo ensure efficiency.
• Work with Fleet and Operations departments to align accounting data with actual operational performance.
• Compute and analyzecost per kilometer, cost per trip, andprofit margin per client or lane.

3. Billing, Collections, and Payables

• Supervisebilling and invoicingfor trucking and logistics services.
• Monitoraccounts receivableand follow up on overdue payments from clients.
• Overseeaccounts payable, ensuring timely payment to suppliers, fuel providers, and drivers.
• Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions (delivery receipts, trip tickets, billing statements, etc.).

4. Compliance and Audit

• Ensure compliance withBIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and local governmentrequirements.
• Managetax filings, VAT, EWT, and income taxreturns.
• Ensure adherence to company policies andinternal control systems.

5. Cash Flow and Treasury Management

• Managecash flowto ensure availability of funds for operations (fuel, toll, repairs, payroll).
• Implementcash advance and liquidation policiesfor drivers and operations staff.
• Monitorpetty cash, collections, and depositsdaily.

6. Leadership and Coordination

• Coordinate with Operations, Fleet Maintenance, and HR for expense validation and reporting.
• Present financial performance reports and insights to top management for decision-making.

7. Systems and Process Improvement

• Implement or enhanceaccounting systemssuited for logistics operations.
• Developstandard operating procedures (SOPs)for financial documentation, billing, and collections.
• Continuously improvereporting accuracy and turnaround time.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or any related field; CPA is an advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Experience in the trucking, logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, or customs brokerage industry is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, cash flow management, and Philippine accounting standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and accounting/ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
