Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience.

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting processes and tax compliance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
• Experience in FMCG, Food Manufacturing or Food Distribution.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and review of financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow).
• Supervise and guide Accounting and Documentation Departments in day-to-day operations.
• Ensure compliance with BIR tax regulations and other regulatory agencies.
• Administer Oracle-related financial processes: entries, accruals, depreciation, fixed assets movement.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, cost control and revenue improvements.
• Assign responsibilities, set performance goals, and conduct regular performance evaluations.

Brief Job Description

The Accounting Head oversees the company’s accounting and financial operations, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, effective cash flow management, and compliance with tax and regulatory requirements. The role also leads the Accounting team and supports management through financial analysis and planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Supervise and provide guidance to the Accounting and Documentation Departments in their day-to-day operations.
• Ensure compliance with BIR tax regulations and requirements of other external regulatory agencies.
• Administer and support Oracle-related financial processes, including reviewing entries, accruals, amortization, and fixed asset movements from asset proposal through depreciation.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost control and revenue improvement, including Budget vs. Actual reports for OPCOM meetings.
• Assign responsibilities, establish performance goals, and conduct regular performance evaluations for team members.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting processes, and tax compliance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Experience in FMCG, Food Manufacturing, Food Distribution, or related field.
