Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in supervisory capacity.
• Manufacturing or FMCG industry experience strongly preferred.
• Hands-on SAP experience required.
• Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Experience with SEC filings (AFS, GIS) and BIR tax compliance.
• Ability to supervise a Cost Accountant and an Accounting Associate.
• Willing to be based on-site in Calauan, Laguna.

Responsibilities

• Supervise AP, AR, GL, journal entries, and month-end closing in SAP.
• Lead annual budget preparation, monthly budget-vs-actual monitoring, and cash flow forecasting.
• Directly supervise the Cost Accountant on inventory costing and partner with sales on revenue reporting.
• Ensure compliance with BIR tax filings, SEC filings, and government statutory requirements.
• Coordinate annual external audit and prepare documentation for tax audits.
• Mentor the Cost Accountant and Accounting Associate.

Job Description

The Company is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the accounting team and take ownership of general accounting, financial planning and budgeting, tax compliance, and SEC/corporate governance reporting for our dairy manufacturing operation. This role directly supervises the Cost Accountant and works closely with them on inventory and production costing, but does not handle cost accounting directly. This is a hands-on, on-site role for someone who is equally comfortable closing the books, building a budget, and managing regulatory filings.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise general accounting: AP, AR, GL, journal entries, and month-end/year-end close in SAP.
• Lead annual budget preparation, monthly budget-vs-actual monitoring, and cash flow forecasting.
• Directly supervise the Cost Accountant on inventory and production costing data, and partner with sales on revenue reporting and collections.
• Ensure full compliance with BIR tax filings, SEC filings (AFS, GIS), and government statutory requirements (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
• Coordinate the annual external audit and prepare documentation for tax audits.
• Supervise and mentor the Cost Accountant and an Accounting Associate.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA license strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
