Job summary

GOMECO Group of Companies is seeking a senior finance leader to supervise daily financial operations, including AR/AP, payroll, and GL, and to drive strategic insights through forecasts and budgets.

The role requires 5+ years in a senior finance or accounting position, preferably in manufacturing, with a strong track record of building and guiding a high-performing finance team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a senior finance or accounting role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial organization.
• Proven track record of leading a finance and accounting team, with strong people management skills.
• Excellent financial analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into actionable insights.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and best practices, as well as relevant tax and regulatory requirements.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Proficient in the use of financial management software and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing a high-performing finance and accounting team, providing guidance, training, and performance management
• Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and implementing efficient systems and controls
• Serving as a strategic business partner, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support the overall objectives of the organization
