Job summary

Savent Corporation is seeking an Accounting Associate to join our team in Carmona, Cavite on a full-time basis. You will record transactions, maintain ledgers, and assist with financial statements and tax compliance to ensure accuracy and regulatory adherence.

You'll work closely with the accounting team, handle month-end close, reconcile accounts, and support audits. Strong Excel skills and a solid grasp of GAAP and Philippine tax rules are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent qualification).
• Prior accounting or finance experience, preferably with taxation exposure.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and Excel for analysis.
• Good understanding of GAAP and basic tax concepts.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in records.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Clear written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when needed.
• Experience handling confidential financial information with ethics.
• Familiarity with Philippine tax regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and record financial transactions (invoices, receipts, expenses).
• Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure entry accuracy.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and other statements monthly.
• Assist with preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Support tax compliance and document tax materials.
• Respond to audit inquiries with supporting documentation.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable for timely processing.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing.
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
• Support ad hoc accounting projects as needed.
