STORAGEMART CORPORATION is seeking an Accounting Associate - Invoice to support government compliance and core accounting tasks in a dynamic team.
You will coordinate registrations, maintain filing systems, and work with SEC, BIR, and LGUs, while ensuring timely renewals and accurate records. The ideal candidate has a degree in accounting or finance, strong Excel skills, and hands-on AR/AP and BIR-related experience.
As Accounting Associate - Invoice, you are required to perform the following duties and undertake the following responsibilities in a professional manner.
Coordinate and manage the registration process for new branches or business entities with relevant government agencies and external Taxes teams.
Ensure compliance with all government regulations and requirements, including securing necessary permits, licenses, and certifications.
Liaise with government agencies, such as the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), and local government units, to facilitate branch registration and obtain required documents.
Keep abreast of changes in government regulations, laws, and compliance requirements and ensure the organization's ongoing compliance.
Maintain an organized and up-to-date filing system for all government compliance documents, permits, and licenses.
Collaborate with internal departments, such as Operations, to gather necessary information and documentation for government compliance and registration purposes.
Monitor and track the expiration dates of permits and licenses and initiate renewal processes in a timely manner.
Coordinate with external consultants or legal advisors, as needed, to ensure accurate and efficient government compliance and registration processes.
Provide support during government audits or inspections, including gathering requested documentation and addressing inquiries.
Maintain confidentiality and ensure the security of sensitive information related to government compliance and registration matters.
Graduate of BS Accountancy, Finance or any related field
Proven experience in an accounting role, with exposure to general accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and BIR-related transactions.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and bir regulations in the Philippines.
Proficiency in google sheets and ms excel.
