Job summary

ZLREJ Trading and Construction Corporation is seeking an enthusiastic Accounting Associate to support our accounting department in Cebu City. You will assist with daily accounting tasks, maintain financial records, and help prepare accurate reports to support month-end and year-end closes.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Accountancy, CPA is preferred, 1–3 years of experience, and proficiency with QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel.

Qualifications

• BS in Accountancy or related field (minimum requirement).
• CPA is preferred but not mandatory.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily accounting tasks such as accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare accurate financial reports and support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Maintain up-to-date records of financial transactions and ensure policy compliance.
• Assist in preparing tax filings and reports per local regulations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address financial inquiries.
• Support audits, budget preparation, and process improvements.
