Job summary

SuiteWorks in Cebu City seeks a Finance Associate to support daily financial operations, maintain accurate records, and assist with reporting using QuickBooks Desktop or Online.

You will reconcile bank and GL accounts, generate essential financial statements, and help with analysis to support management decisions. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1 year of hands-on experience using QuickBooks Desktop or Online.
• Solid knowledge of GAAP fundamentals.
• Proficient in Excel (pivot tables and VLOOKUP) and MS Office.
• Experience with general accounting tasks, financial reporting, inventory management, accounts payable and receivable.
• Proficient in any accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Daily Transaction Management in QuickBooks – process AP, AR, and journal entries.
• Financial Record Reconciliation – reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and GL accounts.
• Financial Reporting & Analysis Support – generate P&L statements and Balance Sheets and assist analysis.
• Compliance and Audit Preparedness – ensure processes align with policies and assist audits.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
