Job summary

Connext Global Solutions Inc. is seeking an Accounting Associate 2 to support core accounting operations for a United States client. You will handle general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, cash records, and financial reporting.

This role offers growth in a dynamic BPO environment. Ideal candidates have at least two years of accounting experience, solid knowledge of US accounting principles, and a proactive approach to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience with general ledger, AP, AR, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles and US accounting.
• Minimum of two years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with hands-on AR/AP.
• Experience with general ledger activities and financial transactions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and complete account reconciliations.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and on time.
• Maintain accurate cash records by posting and reviewing bank transactions.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Review accounting transactions for accuracy and completeness.
• Investigate and resolve billing and accounting discrepancies.
• Maintain documentation for financial transactions and support audits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues.
• Support improvements to accounting processes and workflows.
• Contribute to automation and other process improvement initiatives.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
