Connext Global Solutions Inc is seeking an Accounting Associate 1 to support accounts receivable processes for a United States client. The role focuses on invoicing accuracy, timely payments, and customer account reconciliation within a collaborative finance team.

The position requires 1–3 years in collections, strong MS Excel skills, and excellent organizational abilities to maintain precise customer records and invoices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in collections, preferably outbound.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for reporting and analysis.
• Proficiency in performing clerical and administrative tasks essential to AR functions.
• Strong organizational skills with accurate record-keeping of customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
• Creates invoices according to company practices; submits invoices to customers.
• Ensures all invoices have been created and sent to customers.
• Maintains and updates customer files, including name/address changes and mergers.
• Drafts correspondence for past-due accounts and collection actions.
• Creates reports on current status of customer accounts as requested.
• Researches customer discrepancies and past-due amounts with Collections Manager and staff.
• Collaborates with Collections Manager to reconcile accounts receivable on a bi-monthly basis.
• Assists in generating monthly billing statements based on the general ledger.
