Job summary

We Connect HR Solutions OPC is seeking an Accounting Associate to join our team in a hybrid work setup in San Juan, Metro Manila. The role focuses on general ledger tasks, tax compliance, and financial statement preparation.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of hands-on general accounting and Philippine taxation experience, a Bachelors in Accountancy or Finance, and strong knowledge of BIR rules. Travel & Tours experience is a plus; reporting twice weekly to the San Juan office is expected.

Position Details

Location: San Juan, Metro Manila

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2 days/week on-site)

Preferred Industry: Travel & Tours (a strong plus, but optional)

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting tasks, including general ledger management and bank reconciliations.
• Direct full tax compliance, ensuring timely preparation, filing, and submission of local tax requirements and BIR filings.
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist with internal and external audits to maintain strict adherence to accounting standards and government regulations.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in General Accounting and Philippine Taxation.
• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong mastery of BIR compliance, local tax laws, and modern accounting software.
• Prior experience in the Travel and Tours industry is highly advantageous.
• Able to report to the San Juan office twice weekly and available to start by September 2026.
