Job Description
Core Bookkeeping and Compliance
- Review full set of portfolios and ensure compliance deliverables (e.g. tax returns, FS prep)
- With your team of associates, manage the general ledgers including journal entries, accounts payables, receivables, bank reconciliations and other requirements of your assigned client portfolio.
Communication
- Ensure communication timelines are followed
- Respect accounting policies and procedures in line with the requirements of clients
Reviews and Quality Control
- Performs review and controls related to financial reporting and taxes
- Process Improvement
Process Improvement
- Documentation and updating of Standard Operating Procedures per client
- Identify potential issues, draft root cause analysis and raise them to the manager.
- Manage one or more Accounting Associates and their output and oversee timekeeping reports of assigned team
- Oversees Timekeeping reports of assigned team
- Supports onboarding and transitions of new team members
Reporting
- Manage month-end closing of accounts and prepare clients’ financial reports in collaboration with your manager

- Must be detail oriented and highly organized
Qualifications
- Must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy/Management Accounting/Accounting
- Certified Public Accountant license is a plus
- At least 2+ yrs and up of working experience on a senior level in general accounting functions, Payroll, Taxation / financial audit gained from the Big 4 or related field is required for this position
- Must have a supervisory experience for at least 6 months.
- Experience in QuickBooks, XERO or any cloud-based accounting system is highly preferred
- Amenable to work on a hybrid set up and can travel to Mandaluyong City
