Job summary

CloudCFO is seeking an Accounting Associate in Mandaluyong to perform day-to-day bookkeeping, manage ledgers, and collaborate with managers on month-end closings. The role emphasizes accuracy, process adherence, and client communication. Hybrid, full-time setup with growth through training and technology-driven practices.

You will work with cloud accounting tools, tax and payroll tasks, and contribute to client reporting while developing your accounting expertise in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy/Management Accounting/Accounting Technology.
• With at least 1+ yrs work experience in accounting related field (Taxation, Audit, Payroll, General Accounting) - preferably from an accounting firm or client servicing industry.
• Experience across all four accounting areas is required: taxation, audit, payroll, and general accounting.
• Experience in QuickBooks, XERO or any cloud based accounting system is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel is a must.
• Microsoft Excel proficiency must include basic formulas functionality.
• Willing to work in a hybrid set up and can commute going to Mandaluyong City.

Responsibilities

• Executes day-to-day bookkeeping data entry, management of general ledgers including journal entries, accounts payables, receivables, bank reconciliations and other requirements of your assigned client portfolio.
• Manage month-end closing of accounts and prepare clients' financial reports in collaboration with your manager.
• Communicates with clients for data clarification and initial questions
• Respect accounting policies and procedures in line with the requirements of clients and develop them with your manager.
• Performs tasks based on client Workstreams and SOP
• Follows established processes
• Identify and escape issues to seniors or managers
