Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare check vouchers and financial entries for disbursements.
• Review supplier and lease contracts and related financials.
• Prepare official receipts and financial entries for collections.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and cash balance accounting.
• Prepare monthly journal entries, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Handle manual bookkeeping for BIR books of accounts (journal, ledger, cash disbursement and receipt).
• Assist Managers on tax filing and related reports and computations.
• Handle BIR transactions (registration, EFPS etc.).
• Assist in budgeting, expense analysis, lapsing schedules and management reports.
• Assist in internal, external, and BIR audit activities.
• Handle filing of audited financial statements and GIS verification.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

• Prepare check vouchers, creditable withholding tax, and financial entries for disbursement.
• Review contracts of suppliers, lease etc.
• Prepare official receipts, and financial entries for collections.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliation and accounting of cash balance.
• Prepare monthly journals entries, income statements, balance sheets, financial schedules, and cash flow statements.
• Handle manual bookkeeping of Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) book of accounts (general journal, ledger, cash disbursement, cash receipt).
• Assist the Managers on tax filing and in the preparation of various tax-related reports and computations.
• Handle other BIR transactions (application/update of BIR registration, authority to print and registration to Electronic Filing and Payment System (EFPS) facility).
• Assist the Managers in budget preparation, expense analysis, lapsing schedule and other management reports.
• Assist in the regular internal, external, and BIR audit activities.
• Handle filing of audited financial statements and verification of General Information Sheets (GIS).
• Perform other functions as may be assigned from time to time.
