Job summary

Riviera Golf Club, Inc. in Silang, Cavite is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our Finance team on a full-time basis. You will support the accounting department by ensuring accurate financial records and contributing to efficient financial workflows.

This role requires precision with data entry, familiarity with Excel and accounting software, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Experience in a hospitality or club environment is a plus, and you will work under the supervision of

Qualifications

• Completed qualification or certification as an Assistant Accountant, or equivalent accounting qualification.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
• The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Experience in a hospitality or club environment (preferred but not essential).
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in accounting.

Responsibilities

• Processing and recording financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and expense reports.
• Maintaining and updating general ledger accounts and financial records.
• Assisting with bank reconciliations and account verification.
• Preparing supporting documentation for audit purposes.
• Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Assisting with payroll processing and employee record management.
• Performing data entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Preparing financial statements and reports under the supervision of senior accounting staff.
• Filing and organising financial documents in accordance with company procedures.
• Supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes.
