Etiqa Life & General Assurance Philippines, Inc. is seeking an accounting professional to monitor official receipts, review and post General Journal entries, and reconcile bank statements to ensure accurate books. You will contribute to the preparation of annual statements, audited financial statements, and budgets.

The role involves preparing investment-related entries, adjusting entries, and supporting financial reporting tasks to ensure timely, accurate records for management and stakeholders.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field.
• CPA is an advantage.
• Experience in posting General Journal transactions and reconciliations.

Responsabilidades

• Ensures transactions for posting in the General Journal are accurate and valid.
• Reconcile and match entries between bank statements and general ledger.
• Prepare schedules and reconciliations; assist in annual statements and budgets.
• Perform bank reconciliations and assist in investment account entries.
• Assist in preparation of Annual Statement, Audited Financial Statements, and budgets.

JOB SUMMARY:

Monitoring of official receipts, reviewing and posting transactions for adjusting entries in the General Journal. Prepares the entries and analysis for investment accounts, lease transactions. Performing the Bank and Account Reconciliation ensuring that all cash transactions are accounted correctly in the books on a timely manner. Assist in the preparation of the Annual Statement, Audited Financial statements and Annual Budgets.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensures that transactions for posting in the General Journal are accurate and valid.


• Ensure recording of transactions are accurate and timely.


• Reconcile collections report between accounting records and sales records


• Reconcile and match entries between bank statement and general ledger


• Prepares valuation entries for stocks, bonds and mutual fund investments held by the company. Reconciles the valuation with accounting records and ensures accuracy of reporting.


• Prepare schedules, reconciliations and other required supporting documents


• Review and post transactions for adjusting entries in the General Journal.


• Review and post cash receipts to the sales journal


• Perform bank reconciliation


• Prepares the entries and analysis for investment accounts.


• Assist in preparation of reports, such as but not limited to: Annual Budget, Annual Statements, Audited financial statements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, or related field.

CPA is an advantage
