Job summary

Greenpoint is seeking a motivated Junior Analyst to join our financial team. You will support day-to-day outsourced client work, handling receipts, payments, and payroll, while learning from seasoned professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field (preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity in accounting software (Xero) is a plus but not preferred.

Responsibilities

• Record receipts, payments, and receivables, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Prepare financial reports and statements, ensuring adherence to accounting standards.
• Enter financial transactions into the accounting system, maintaining accurate records.
• Preparation and recording of payroll.
• Participate in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Review of account reconciliations including research and analysis on reconciling items.
• Data investigation, reporting, and analysis as needed including recommendations for process improvement
• Collaborate with the accounting team to prepare and file the client’s monthly tax returns for the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR). Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and deadlines.
• Participate in company-provided training modules designed to enhance accounting and finance skills.
• Maintain a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
