About the role

As our Accounting and Finance Staff / Officer, you will manage our daily financial operations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in general accounting and can efficiently handle project costing, payroll, disbursements, and tax compliance for our active construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Track and record all project-related expenses (materials, labor, equipment rentals, and overhead) to ensure active construction projects remain strictly within budget
• Prepare billing statements and collect payments from clients based on agreed milestones or the percentage of completion on site
• Manage payments to suppliers, hardware stores, and subcontractors. Verify that delivery receipts and purchase orders match before releasing any funds
• Handle payroll for both regular office employees and project-based site workers
• Prepare and file monthly and quarterly tax returns with the BIR (VAT, Withholding Tax) and remit mandatory government contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG)
• Compile, organize, and maintain secure records of project plans, building permits, and other essential construction and regulatory documents
• Generate monthly financial reports (Income Statement, Cash Flow) to monitor the overall financial health of the company

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Financial Management, or any related field
• 1 to 2 years of experience in general accounting
• Prior experience in the construction, engineering, or real estate industry is a major advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or equivalent)
• High attention to detail, specifically in organizing receipts, vouchers, and financial records
• Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with site engineers and suppliers
