Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking an Accountant (Intermediate) to manage day-to-day accounting tasks from a remote setup in Metro Manila. The role involves journals, workpapers, and support for financial statements and income tax returns.

You will handle cloud accounting updates and ensure tasks are completed on time within budgeted hours. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, has about two years of Xero experience, and demonstrates strong attention to detail,

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of accurate financial statements.
• Support the preparation of income tax returns and related documentation.
• Maintain accounting records and perform cloud accounting updates using accounting software.
• Ensure assigned accounting tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and within allocated budgeted hours.

Your Role

As a Accountant (Intermediate), you will be responsible for day-to-day accounting functions, including preparing journals and workpapers to support the timely completion of financial statements and income tax returns.

Specifically, You Will:

• Prepare and process accounting journals and supporting workpapers.
• Assist in the preparation of accurate financial statements.
• Support the preparation of income tax returns and related documentation.
• Maintain accounting records and perform cloud accounting updates using accounting software.
• Ensure assigned accounting tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and within allocated budgeted hours.

What You Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical accuracy.

Preferred Skills/Expertise

• Around 2 years of hands‑on experience using Xero accounting software.
• Experience preparing financial workpapers, reconciliations, or tax documentation.
