Job summary

MicroSourcing is hiring a Financial Accountant to join our team onsite in Eastwood, Quezon City, Philippines. This role operates on a day shift and entails handling bank reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, intercompany recharges, and month-end closings as part of a collaborative finance function.

Qualifications

• Experience in bank reconciliations and monthly close processes is a plus.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work onsite in a day shift environment in Eastwood, QC.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bank reconciliations.
• Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Reconcile and account for company credit card and FlexiPurchase transactions.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger.
• Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register.
• Process month-end accruals and journal entries.
• Manage intercompany rebills and recharges.
• Complete ABS surveys.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and P&L reporting.
• Identify and drive improvements to finance processes and procedures.

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare bank reconciliations.
• Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Reconcile and account for company credit card and FlexiPurchase transactions.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger.
• Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register.
• Process month-end accruals and journal entries.
• Manage intercompany rebills and recharges.
• Complete Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) surveys.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and Profit & Loss (P&L) reporting.
• Identify and drive improvements to finance processes and procedures.
• Provide general support to the Finance team as required.
