About the role

This role involves processing and reporting on Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), managing finance-related duties and correspondence, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to manage payament and billing queries, liquidations and claims. You will perform bank reconciliations, assist with bill payment runs, credit card payments, consultants, project billings and payables, manage payroll processing of wage payments, and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards which include the review of payroll and government compliance (SSS, PhilHealth, HDMF, DOLE), preparing and filing all relevant documentation for tax filing, managing BIR applications, preparing financial reports, coordinating with external auditors, and handling corporate compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliations and manage the company's general ledger
• Process the bill payment runs, credit card payments and monthly utility and recurring bills
• Process and review payroll for government compliance (SSS, PhilHealth, HDMF) payable
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards including review of payroll and government compliance (SSS, PhilHealth, HDMF, DOLE)
• Prepare and file all relevant documentation for tax filing and bookkeeping
• Manage BIR applications, prepare and submit all relevant accounting compliance for submission to the external Tax consultant regarding the Withholding Tax on Compensation, Expanded Withholding Tax, VAT, and other BIR compliance related accounting
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Coordinate with external auditors and internal stake holders for project summaries and liquidations
• Handle corporate compliance requirements
