Crackerjack Corporation is seeking an Accountant to record and maintain financial transactions, prepare journal entries and financial reports. You will monitor payables/receivables, reconcile accounts, assist in budgeting, and ensure compliance with BIR requirements.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, proficiency in Excel and accounting software, and strong attention to detail. Independent work with deadlines is essential; prior accounting experience is preferred.
Record and maintain accurate financial transactions and accounting records.
Prepare and review journal entries, invoices, receipts, and other accounting documents.
Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting and financial planning.
Prepare payroll-related accounting records and required deductions when assigned.
Assist in the preparation and filing of BIR and other government reports and requirements.
Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.
Review expenses and verify supporting documents.
Assist with audits and provide necessary accounting documents and reports.
Maintain confidentiality of financial and employee information.
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable laws and regulations.
Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Previous experience in accounting is preferred.
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
Familiarity with BIR requirements and Philippine accounting practices is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
