Job summary

REDSTARx in the Philippines is seeking a junior accountant to join the growing finance team. You will record orders, invoices, and payments, and assist with month-end close.

This role offers hands-on exposure to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting, with opportunities for salary reviews as responsibilities grow. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply and grow with the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.

• Experience with AR/AP is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable is preferred.
• Good Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Experience with Odoo or other accounting systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Record customer orders, Delivery Receipts, Sales Invoices, and payments.
• Monitor Accounts Receivable and identify overdue balances.
• Track checks received, deposited, cleared, or pending.
• Notify management when accounts are due for collection.
• Record supplier Delivery Receipts, Sales Invoices, and payments.
• Monitor Accounts Payable and outstanding balances with suppliers.
• Reconcile supplier Statements of Account with REDSTARx records.
• Record and categorize company expenses.
• Monitor money entering and leaving company bank accounts.
• Assist with bank reconciliation.
• Maintain organized accounting records.
• Prepare monthly sales, expense, and profit reports.
• Provide management with updated reports on cash/bank balances, AR, AP, pending collections, and monthly sales and profit.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• - Record customer orders, Delivery Receipts, Sales Invoices, and payments
