Fidelis Information Technology Corp is seeking an Accountant (Lending Company) to manage books for three entities and oversee loan accounting, tax returns, and SEC reporting. The role requires strong knowledge of BIR compliance and bank reconciliations, with attention to detail and independence.
Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy/Finance and 4-5 years in accounting, preferably in lending.
Accountant (Lending Company) – Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records and perform bookkeeping for three (3) entities.
Prepare disbursement and journal vouchers.
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements.
Handle loan accounting, including interest computation and receivables monitoring.
Ensure compliance with Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reportorial requirements.
Prepare and file tax returns with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), including withholding tax (compensation and expanded), VAT/percentage tax, and income tax (monthly and quarterly).
Generate and submit Alphalist of Employees and Suppliers.
Prepare and submit QAP and VAT Relief reports.
Perform bank reconciliations and support audits.
Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
CPA is an advantage but not required.
At least 4-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a lending or financing company.
Strong knowledge of BIR tax compliance and SEC reportorial requirements.
Experience in preparing financial statements, tax returns, and bank reconciliations.
Knowledge of loan accounting, interest computation, and receivables monitoring is preferred.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently.
