Job Title: Accounting Assistant (Lending & Financial Services)

The Accounting Assistant will support the Finance Department in managing the day-to-day fiscal operations of our lending portfolio. You will be responsible for processing loan disbursements, tracking repayments, reconciling accounts, and ensuring all data is accurately captured in our accounting and loan management software.

Key Responsibilities

• Loan Portfolio Accounting: Process daily loan fundings and ensure accurate recording of principal, interest, and fees.
• Accounts Receivable: Monitor incoming borrower payments, apply them to the correct accounts, and manage collections for past-due balances.
• Bank Reconciliation: Perform daily and monthly reconciliations of bank statements against the general ledger and loan management system.
