Job summary

Shore360, a 100% Australian-owned BP firm in the Philippines, is seeking an accounting/finance professional to join our finance team.

You will perform bank reconciliations, GL reconciliations, AP/AR support, and assist in producing financial statements, while maintaining strong attention to detail and effective communication.

Bachelor of Accounting/Finance is required; we offer growth, on-site work in the Philippines and Shore Xtra Perks including day-1 benefits and attendance rewards.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure transactions match between records and bank statements.
• Prepare general ledger reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies.
• Assist in accounts payable transactions and ensure timely payments to vendors; assist with invoicing.
• Assist with balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements.
• Assist other departments with ad hoc accounting queries and contribute to process improvements.

Process and reconcile

• Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure that all transactions match between the company's records and bank statements
• Prepare general ledger account reconciliations in a timely manner and follow up on any discrepancies
• Assist in process accounts payable transactions accurately, ensuring timely payments to vendors
• Assist with invoicing for accounts receivable and following up on outstanding payments
• Bank and corporate credit card reconciliations and cost tracking
• Assist with annual Insurance renewals
• Creation and upload of bank files for payment runs
• Assist in the production of accurate and timely results for corporate accounting purposes in according with timelines and policies
• Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
• Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned to ensure accurate financial reporting

Team Support

• Upload construction budgets/claims for new jobs
• Other tasks as required to help the finance team achieve their goals
• Assist the other departments with ad hoc administration and accounting queries
• Seek opportunities and contribute to process improvement
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry.
