Job summary

BDO Unibank, Inc. in the Philippines seeks an Account Officer to achieve loan volume targets, maintain profitability and ensure sound credit quality while delivering excellent customer service for MSME lending.

You will solicit microfinance loan accounts, assess applicant qualifications, initiate credit and collection activities, and coordinate with bank units to process applications, adhering to bank policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree completed.
• Sales and fieldwork experience in Microfinance is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Solicit microfinance loan accounts to meet the business needs of the customer.
• Analyze overall loan applicant’s qualifications to determine feasibility of granting loans.
• Initiates credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality of accounts.
• Coordinates with other bank officers or units related to the processing and servicing of loan applications and loan clients.
• Perform other functions that may be assigned to him/her.
• Ensure compliance with Banks policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

Job Summary

The Account Officer is responsible for achieving loan volume targets. In this role, the Account Officer is expected to maintain profitability and sound credit quality, as well as extend good customer service in line with the Banks standards and requirements.

The Account Officer is also expected to attend to inquiries of clients on MSME loans.

Key Responsibilities
