Job summary

BDO Network Bank, Inc. in the Philippines seeks an Account Officer for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises to drive loan volumes while maintaining profitability and service quality.

You will actively solicit MSME loan accounts, analyze applicant qualifications, and coordinate processing with various units to ensure timely loan booking. Fieldwork and sales experience in microfinance are preferred; motorcycle driving is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any four-year or five-year degree.
• Good selling, communication and customer service skills.
• Basic mathematical knowledge.
• Familiar with word processing & spreadsheets.
• Fieldwork and sales experience in microfinance is an advantage.
• Preferably can drive a motorcycle.

Responsibilities

• Actively solicit microfinance loan accounts to meet customer needs.
• Analyze loan applicant’s qualifications to determine feasibility of granting loans.
• Initiate credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality of accounts.
• Coordinate with concerned officers and/or other units related to processing and servicing of loan applications and loan clients.
• Review and update customer loan files, loan agreements, etc. to ensure adequacy for credit processing and loan booking.
• Execute sales and/or marketing activities that will achieve volume targets.

Job Summary

The Account Officer for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises is responsible for achieving loan volume targets while maintaining profitability, sound credit quality, and good customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively solicit microfinance loan accounts to meet the business needs of the customer
• Analyze overall loan applicant’s qualifications to determine feasibility of granting loans
• Initiate credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality of accounts
• Coordinate with concerned officers and/or other units related to processing and servicing of loan applications and loan clients
• Review and update customer loan files, loan agreements, etc. to ensure adequacy for credit processing and loan booking
• Execute sales and/or marketing activities that will achieve volume targets

Qualifications:

• Graduate of any four-year or five-year degree course / Bachelor's Degree Holder
• Possesses good selling, communication and customer service skills.
• Must have basic mathematical knowledge.
• Preferably familiar with computer software including word processing & spreadsheets.
• With fieldwork and sales experience on Microfinance, an advantage.
• Preferably can drive a motorcycle
• Willing to be assigned in Baguio City
